Love This Clamp. Best Purchase For My Shop In YEAR.
This band clamp makes others look like knitting string. I've used this clamp for so many projects and it has never done me wrong.

One handed wonder
I have two of these ratcheting clamps and I will probably buy two more. I work alone and find them amazingly useful. They have a long belt and work on large projects with a lot of pull. I use them in sets of two most the time to get even pressure top and bottom.

Excellent product
If you're making small boxes like the picture shows the product doesn't get any better....... I used it when making jewelry box drawers and it worked perfectly......... keeps stuff square without over tightening......

Works Great
This clamp works well for me. The band release and automatic take up are a superb feature. Also I was quite surprised with the amount of tension the this clamp can apply. It has advanced to be one of my favorite tools.

Best design so far
This is my 3rd round of purchasing these clamps. I use them when building large road cases and they are great for the large case size and the trigger action of reeling in the line. once we have it close I push the button and we have a snug fit, can adjust fit and finish then use the trigger to tighten the hold. we also use them for holding bundles of material together so we can move it around with the fork lift then release with the push of a button. We just keep finding more uses for them.

Once you get the clamp (with its many pieces) in place, it works great. However, I get frustrated when the nylon corner pieces come loose from the belt. In my opinion, this is a design flaw which should be corrected.

i am hoping this will be easier to use than the Rockler strap clamps. I liked the fact that the strap is enclosed, probably preventing twisting.

Where do you get additional variable angle jaws to add to this clamp?
Larry on May 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You don't need them the corner protectors will adjust to any angle.
Can you add more than 4 corners, as an example 8 corners for octagon shape?
Hobby woodworker on Apr 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Of course you can. 8 equal size pieces with 22-1/2 degree cuts on each side.
How long is the strap? The add indicates it is 16' (feet), however one of the comments complains that the strap is only 16 inches long. What is the actual length of the strap?
Robb W on May 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The strap is a full 16 feet long
Can two straps be connected to create a bigger box?
Hutch on Oct 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, one could disconnect one end, and use them in tandem or triplicate. For really long clamps, simple bands probably would be easier. The one hand advantage would go away.
