Hard to find!
I’m so glad I found your site. I had been looking for about a year for this particular width t-molding. It worked great and replaced some older molding in my 1986 Airstream.

Great Product
I wasn't sure of the size I needed - 3/4 was too big, and found the link for the 5/8 molding and ordered it (250 feet). Received it in a timely manner and went to work the following day. Easy to work with, very happy with the outcome. Used it on a large set of storage cabinets. I highly recommend this product.

T-Molding
The T-Molding I purchased worked great. You will need a 1/16" sloting cutter, just make sure you get the shank size to fit your router

Easy installation
The table is 40 years old and the edge I replaced was "hard" plastic. Removing the old edge and clearing out the center groove was more than I expected. Installing the new T-Molding Edging was very quick and easy.

what glue can be used hold this in a kerf that might be more than 1/16?
A shopper on Aug 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I used titbond 2 use plenty and tape in place with blue painter tape overnight
will this still fit if the kerf is 5/32"?
Eldon H on May 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These fit a 1/16" kerf
How is it attached?
A shopper on Aug 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Very nice product...by routing in a groove around the edge of the table top in my case, you just push in the vinyl "T" molding and it grips with the lip. Very strong grip, no gluing and it's simple. Give it a try and you will be impressed!!
Can i use it on my deck to fill a gap between boards? (in other words is it suitable for outdoor use?)
sergeyr3 on Sep 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Think the material "plastic" might work for outdoor use, but I don't think it would work on a deck. I believe I cut a 1/16" groove in the edge of a plywood top & rubber hammered it into place. I'm 99% sure it would have no way to stay/hold between deck boards. This stuff if made for edging something like 8' particle board banquet tables or similar.
what is the best way to remove the old t moulding?
A shopper on May 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The old moulding from my boat console dashboard simply pulled free. When I made the new decks and routed the slot I added an all weather glue to the plastic that met wood. Since yours may be glued as well the issue is what kind of glue. Either way I'd just pull it offa d north to dig it out of the slot fearing you'll open the slot too wide and thus the moulding won't snugly fit. I needs glue because it was outdoors and when you mold it around curves it was 't tight enough. Which by the way if you go around right angles you'll need to notch a small "v" out of the slot moulding
My 35 year old sailboat flooring (teak and holly) has a 1/2 in. depth(width?) and 1/8 in. wide opening to accept the T-Molding (also 35 years old). The depth of the opening is also 1/2 inch. I would be working with almost 50 feet of T-molding and I'm a bit skeptical about how easy this would be to cut down to the 1/2 size I need (trimming both sides). Do you have any edging with 1/2 in. depth (width) or if you were going to attempt to cut/trim off the extra, what type of very sharp tool would you need to use? Thanks. Tom.
Thomas F on Mar 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Tom. I used my edging around the set of a child's seat. As for cutting. it can be cut by a scroll saw, knife blade, razor knife or even a steel file. I'd recommend a saw for the rough cut and file to fit it exactly. Might take a while. Also know that the top of the T is not straight. Both ends sag. So you will need to apply pressure (weight) to the top to flatten out the T until the glue dries. Good Luck!
My flakeboard train table edging is 11/16. Is this a true 3/4" Can it be easily trimmed with a utility knife?
Nevin on Oct 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: the answer to both of your questions is yes
My kitchen Cabinets and the drawers have a white plastic edging , in the middle of the trim there is a piece that goes into a slot that goes across the top and sides that you would I guess hammer in to make it stay . The drawers and kitchen cabinets are in a 1970 mobile home .The molds need replacing .Do you know what I need and do you have them. Roberta ???
bertie on May 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Bertie,
I had the same thing with my bathroom cabinets. Remove the old strip and replace it with the new T-Molding. A small rubber mallet will easily secure them into the existing slot in your cabinets.
How well does it work on MDF? I'm making a sewing table for my wife and I don't want the fabric to snag on the edges.
Mike G on Mar 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't believe fabric would snag on the edges.
I need to replace flex plastic around the bottom edge of my dinning room table in light wood grain color about 1inch wide about 3yards.The old plastic previously was stapled on its an old table in good condition, just needs an up grade. The color on it is a soft plastic silver.would like to purchase some thing easy and quick to replace the old one. thank you for any advice you can give me.?
liz r on Sep 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Mine fit perfectly. The ends that you push into the slot fits fine and holds.
Can you get edging in Cream or off White?
Suzanne S on May 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The edging I purchased was off-white in color, but I ended up painting the edge to match the chair. Did a light sanding before painting.
How do you install this on an inside curve?
mujin on Sep 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The base of the T-molding is barbed, so if you route the receiving material with the proper grooving bit, It will hold fast whether installed on the inside or outside of a curve.
Could this be placed in a chair foot rest that one has been pulled out of?
Tam B on Nov 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You have to have a groove for the base of the "T". And it's only 3/4" wide.
