Pro Phenolic Router Table
Very nice, router lift works great and table and fence are very high quality. The only thing it lacks is a remote on/off switch for the router mounted on the front or side. I know I can buy one and install it, but It would be a very nice addition to the package.

Woodworking Experience:
Great combination
I've been using the Rockler setup for about a month now and have had no problems. The system has worked out great. I've used it for joinery, molding, planing, dado cuts and making stiles/ rails cuts. The table top and fence are flat and accurate. The lift is solid (no slippage issues) and is the only way to go for easy setup. Table top is designed to fit the Rockler stand without drilling any additional holes. I also bought the Rockler casters and their ability to lock down and not swivel make for a steady work station.

Woodworking Experience:
overall very good
quality of product very goo. some of the instructions weren't very thorough and required some interpretation. The lift itself works very well, but access to change bit is difficult (porter cable router)

Great product
Easy to adjust. Used a home made router bench for years. It was hard to do quality work. Rockler bench with lift is great. Instructions for installing router were not clear, but I figured it out OK. Love it.

Woodworking Experience:
A Great Investment
I have had an older bench top Crafstmen router table for quite a while and it got the job done, but I "window shopped" this table/set-up for quite a while and when Rockler was running the special of getting the Porter Cable router with the table and lift for free I jumped on it. What a step up! The table is great! I can't believe I lived without a router lift for so long. Oh how that makes life so much easier when it comes to bit changes! I would also like to say that Rockler did a fantastic job with customer service. I was shipped the original phenolic top and it had a long crack along the backside of the table and Rockler shipped me out a new top ASAP! Great customer service, excellent product! I ended up ordering the 3" leg extensions for the table stand and it made a world of differnce putting the table at a much more ergonomic height!

My phenolic router top was busted when I received it. Rockler reordered me another one. I haven’t received it yet. It’s on back order until 3/13/18. I wouldn’t recommend buying this product.

Pro Phenolic Router Table
This is my first ever router table, never had one, never used one. Up to this point in time I've never needed one, all my work was done with a hand held router. I read reviews for various tables, even the ones listed here as well as looking at them in stores. I chose this one for no particular reason other than the store had it in stock and I needed to get some work done. The assembly of the metal stand was no problem, very easy, my only advice is to have help when you square the legs. The table seems to be pretty good, surface wise. I can't say much for how the plate is leveled. The table has pre-drilled holes for the leveling screws, the main concern here is go slow, use a socket driver and make sure you get them in straight. No power tools. I had read about this issue so I knew to go slow. Rockler should put threaded inserts in the pre-drilled holes. Leveling the plate can be a bit of a pain, just be patient. The instructions are a bit vague both for the plate as well for the lift but once you read through them about twice and look at the photos it all comes together. Same thing for the fence, its directions are just photos, but was an easy assembly. The lifts instructions for installing the router aren't too bad. I think the key to the entire process is read the instructions, be sure you understand them, and take your time. Which for me total time was about 3 hours which included connecting it to my vacuum system. Since I've never used a router table I wasn't sure about the learning curve which was pretty short. I watched a couple of "how to 's" on you tube and ran a few pieces through, no problem. I didn't rate this table a "5" because of the pre-drilled holes and the possibility of getting the screws in crooked and the problem with leveling the plate. Over all, the quality is pretty good. You might say the price is a bit high but it boils down to how bad you want or need it. You can always go cheaper as there are cheaper tables out there, but based on experience with cheap price the quality is cheap as well. If I had to recommend this entire table to a friend, I would. Oh yeah, I chose the FX lift because that's what the store manager recommended and he hasn't given me bad advice yet. I matched it up to a porter cable 890 / 892 router, again his recommendation as well I've used porter cable tools before and still do with no problems.

Woodworking Experience:
Overall nice product but here is where it can be improved on. The auxiliary fence sticks out proud of the t track section of the fence, so if you are using a feather board the feather board is at a slight angle. This fence should be on one plane so that jigs or anything attached to the t track sits flat on the fence. The next thing is the screws that level the router plate are only screwed into the top with no way of locking them. I own a Benchdog table and there is a mounted metal frame on the underside of the table that all the screws go through with locking nuts on each. One more little thing, I purchased the dust box made by Rockler, it is of nice quality, but I feel they should pre drill the four holes require to mount the box. This would be very easy to do in production. If you do drill into the phenolic table use the biggest bit you can get away with for the screw you choose and also use wax or some other lubricant to drive the screw or you will shear the screw.

Pro Phenolic Router table
Product is solid and functions well, once you have figured out the installation and operation. The installation directions are skimpy at best and assume that the purchaser already knows how to use the product. The directions need many more labelled photos and step by step details.

The price included the router table for free - $120 savings if bought separately. The phenolic table itself is not effected by humidity, therefor remains flat and is designed to fit the mounting holes on the table frame. Router lift is designed for ease and also for precise adjustment without fumbling with clamps and adjustments under the work surface.

what is part no for a set of casters for router table stand
rodney h on Feb 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The part # is: 47034. I use these casters and they are very wonderful.
Depending on your height, the table with casters may be too low for comfort. If this is the case, you can install the 3" riser blocks, #44836, to get the table to a comfortable height.
What is the exact height when the leveling feet are screwed in? I want to store it under my table saw extension table which has a 32.25" clearance.
brooke w on Jan 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have the wheels, not the leveling feet...35 inches.
Does it have the insert plate for the table?
James D on May 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes..... The blue part is the insert plate for the table.... it ends up flush to the table.
Then there is/are insert plate/s for the "blue part" that also end up flush to the "blue Part" to accommodate different size bits. At the end.... from the bit hole to the phenolic table is precisely flush.
I hope that I interpreted you question correctly and that my reply is what you were looking for.
