Here's an enticing entry-level band saw if your projects don't require large cutting capacity or your shop space won't allow for a larger-sized machine. It will resaw stock up to 4-5/8'' tall and has a throat capacity of more than 9''. Tool-less blade guides, a quick-release blade tension lever and a large tensioning knob make blade installation and adjustment easy. The cast-iron table tilts in both directions, and it has a standard 3/8'' x 3/4'' miter slot. A welded-steel column and frame ensures rugged performance, and the saw's drive wheels are balanced for smooth sawing. The machine comes with an open steel stand, miter gauge and dust port.
