Rikon Mobility Kit
While the design is a bit like a Rube Goldberg contraption, it does function well. The assembly document is vague as to how the locking device attaches to the frame assembly. I had to redo it once I realized how it should be done. I attached my kit to a Sears copy of the Rikon bandsaw and that may be why the axle rods that the frames pivot on were slightly too short. But I eliminated the washers that fit next to the cotter pins on the ends of these rods and everything is working fine. I don't anticipate any severe side loads on these axles that would wear on the cotter pins. Yes, you need to remove one of the existing braces to be able to easily press the locking device, but that hasn't affected the rigidity of the legs.
