Woodworking Experience:
Great & handy
They’re great. I have 3 of them. I attach them to the back of my lathes to hold lathe tools that I use frequently. Catches some shavings but when I vacuum I make sure to do it too. Tools are too heavy to get sucked up in vacuum

Glad I don't rely on first impressions
My first impressions of this were frankly not good. I thought it looked kind of cheesy and even planned to build a door to put over it (I screwed it to the wall next to my workbench. I also thought that it would start sagging after a while.

I'm glad I don't rely on first impressions. I've used it several months now. It does a good job holding the tools I use most. They're readily accessible and easy to find. It turned out to be sturdy and hasn't sagged a bit. Once I got used to looking at it on the wall it feels like it's always been there.

Woodworking Experience:
Ideal tool organizer for all my shops
Love this Shop Apron. I have a large property with workshops for wood working, cycling, and garden & misc. The workshops have peg boards that look great but the tools get stuck on the pegs and then pegs and tools come flying off when pulling tools off. I put up the 18" version of this shop apron in my bike shop next to the bike stand and all of my toots are now easily identified, within easy reach, and I can fit more tools into a smaller space than with peg boards. I got another 24" apron for the wood shop and plan on buying several more. Not even using the stand - I just put in a couple of screws on the wall where I want it and hang it up.

tool pouch for tool cart
I bought this apron for my tool cart on wheels, and I move the cart where ever I'm working in my shop, It is working out great.
I hung it on the edge of the cart so the tools I use most are right there.

What is the diameter of the four grommets in apron?
Matthew E on Mar 23, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Inside diameter is 1/2i inch, outside diameter is 1 inch.
Why are the grommets offset on the Rockler 24-inch and the 18-inch Shop Stand Apron?
Gary M on Feb 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They are offset to accommodate the bolt pattern on the Shop Stand. If they were symmetrical, it would be crooked on the stand. As a stand alone piece, you can just adjust the screw placement.
