Double Feather Board
What a great idea. I don't have a band saw and was unsure that I could accurately cut 2x4 material on edge to get 3/8" boards to build some small boxes for my granddaughter. Using this tool I was able to keep pressure against the fence of my table saw for the full 3-1/2" height of 2x4.

Double Featherboard
Needed the tall featherboard to route a deep stoppeddado
in a narrow board. Held board tight against fence great.

Woodworking Experience:
Very well-designed. It keeps my taller material tight up against the fence. It will minimize chatter in the cut. Saves on sanding time.

Haven't used them stacked yet but as regular feather boards they work great. Have used them on my router table and table saw. Don't know how I got along with them before.

Just get em. You need them.
These feather boards are the cats meow. They hold your work piece tight against the rip fence while your fingers stay safely away from the blade. That’s exactly what I’ve been looking for.

working with small pieces on my table saw, this past week, my fingers almost made contact with the blade several times, while trying to hold the pieces against the fence, and down on the table. I think it is time to save my fingers!

Norma S on Apr 18, 2020
I seems that there are a lot of featherboards out there but this is the only one that is reviewed as consistantly being of the highest quality. Personally, I find Rockler to be a bit pricy but I've never questioned the integrity of their products.

Because I want to make Raised Panels for my closet door. I can stack and reverse the feathers as needed.
David S on Dec 1, 2018
This stackable featherboard will make using my router table a lot safer. I bought two sets, one for the incoming side and one for the outgoing side. When doubled up they will hold the lumber against the fence while the lumber is in the vertical position.

I bought this a while ago for my husband's portable router table. The slot on his table is 5/8", instead of 3/4". Is there a set of 5/8" slotbars for this system? Any suggestions?
Sarah on Mar 18, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No. You could replce the 5/8" miter slot with a 3/4" miter track.

Would this work with a DeWalt table saw? I purchased the saw about a year ago.
Mark L on Mar 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, use it regularly
Has anyone ever gone higher than two? I resaw boards as high as 12" and would love a bit more pressure near the top.???
Bret R on Aug 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't recommend going 3 high the feather boards would not create enough pressure at the top. You might want to try microjigs 3D push block which would let you apply more pressure at the top.
Bolts at 2.5 in long ?
jerry c on Oct 23, 2016

Please excuse my lateness in answering your question. I recently had open heart surgery and am now just starting to work through my e-mails. To answer your question: the bolts on my featherboard are 4"long. They may have packed the wrong ones with yours.

Gregg Pollack
Is this reversible? My band saw has the miter slot on the right side of blade and my table saw has the miter slot on the left side of blade, so I would need to turn it over depending on which saw I was using.
Randy F on Nov 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes this can be reversed.
What is the height of the double feather board?
Mark G. on Jun 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Each feather board is 3/4" thick and the spacer is 1.5" thick for a total stack of 3". You can stack the two feather boards on top of each other to make one 1.5" thick but you lose the alignment feature that the spacers provide.
Will these work on a Kreg phenolic router table?
ken s on Feb 17, 2019
