Rockler Easy-to-Grip 5-Star Fence Knobs, Pair

These extra-long knobs extend above the fence so you don't have to walk around to the side or reach behind the fence to tighten them. They are always visible and always accessible—ideal for any tall fence application: router table fences, drill press fences, band saw fences and the like. Less walking means faster setups, and you'll never skin your knuckles on the fence again. Add to that their ultra-comfortable shape and top-quality materials and you have a set of knobs that are a pleasure to use. They truly must be felt to be appreciated—''luxurious'' is not an overstatement.

  • Ultra-durable construction with comfortably molded gussets
  • Zero sharp edges—rubber overmold extends beneath the knob for total comfort and easy tightening
  • Extended-length insert for extra thread durability

Good product. Eliminates having to reach around fence to make adjustments. I will probably purchase a couple of more sets for around the workshop.

Product is fine. Height keeps me from skinning my knuckles. Qty shown is misleading. Thought they were sold separately so ordered 2. Now have 4 knobs. Come 2 (pair) to a pkg. don’t make same mistake I did.

These work really well with a drill press fence that I made from Rockler multi-track parts. Far better than reaching down behind the fence. Also work with my Hart Design fence on another dripp press and my Jessem router fence. Guess I'll be needing more of them.

I made a mistAke making a jig. My knob was interfering with my stop because it was too wide and stuck out past my jig. With these knobs being raised and the base is small enough to not interfere with my stop. These are exactly what I need. I5 keeps mh3 f4om remaking my entire jig over again and they also can serve as a “handle” for the ajig if needed.

I have a Rockler Router Table system that came with a fence, and the knobs supplied were always really hard to get too. These raise your knuckles out of the jamming zone behind the fence, and make it a lot easier to adjust and secure.

Will this work on a Craftsman router table?
Todd S on Nov 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: One of my router tables is a very old Craftsman, (sits on a workbench), identified as "industrial" model. I would hardly consider it that. But the holes to secure the fence look to be 1/4", and the knobs on the Rockler knob are 5/16 or 3/8. They definitely do not fit this Craftsman table. You would need to rout out one slot and one hole to make it fit. The knobs are very good, and are installed on my (auxilliary) drill press table which is quite thick, has its own track.
