Our new steel stands have gotten a size upgrade - now measuring 26" wide for greater stability and more storage potential. We've also beefed up the bottom stretchers and added a lip for a bottom shelf. They're perfectly sized for all Rockler and Bench Dog router tables, and are also ideal for accessory workbenches, chop saw stands, and sharpening stations. All components are drilled so you can easily add a cabinet with dust collection. 1/8" thick steel. Includes stand components, leveling feet and hardware. Finished stand measures 18"D x 26"W x 32"H. Risers (sold separately) increase height to 35".

Features:
  • Beefier bottom stretchers with a predrilled lip support plenty of weight for a shelf or a completely enclosed cabinet
  • New, glossier finish

NICE STAND!
Bought this stand to complement the Rockler phenolic router table. Easy to assemble and square up. Added the locking caster set, and will be adding the shop stand drawer mounting kit so I can add drawers to the table. This will require drilling for the drawer kit mounting bolts as the router table is not pre-drilled like the shop stand kits are. Will make a great router table when completed.

Steel Router table Stand
I purchased this stand with the cast iron Bench Dog table top, Pro fence and Rockler Pro Router Lift. Very happy with this combination! The router lift is so easy to adjust quickly and precisely. I especially like being able to pop out the insert, run the router up through the tabletop and replace bits above the surface of the table. Had a minor problem with one of the leveling feet arriving damaged due to the way it was packed; Rockler shipped out a replacement part right away and it's perfect. I added a switch, retractable wheels and built a custom cabinet for below the tabletop that holds all my router related bits and other tools.

What are the dimensions of the metal pieces--are these 1 1/2" or 2" angle iron and are all the pieces 1/8" thick or just certain particular pieces?-Thanks
Router S on Dec 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The legs and upper box frame are 2"x2" angle iron. The bottom box frame is 1"x3" angle iron. Legs are 1/8" thick while the upper and lower box frames are 3/32" thick. I added a safety switch (#20915) and locking casters (#47034) to mine for added safety and portability.
Will Triton router table fit on Rockler router table stand?
Larry on Mar 23, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely. Mine is. In fact, Rockler will occasionally sell these two items together as a package at a reduced rate. You will need to drill a hole in the surface top to accommodate the shaft used to raise/lower the router, but it's not really difficult to do.
Will this stand hold my planner?
James F on Jul 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: That is exactly what I am doing with mine. I put wheels on mine in order to make the planer mobile as I have a small shop.
How does the router table attach to the stand?
Bob H on Oct 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: There are 4 silver allen head bolts that mount the table to the stand. The heads of the bolts are flat and sit 1/16" below the table top. Nuts on the bottom of the bolt underneath the table. This all looks nice and it is very secure.
Is this stand compatible for Triton router table TWX7RT?

I have a router table Sears I need a base for will this work or be too high? Thanks
Stephen V on Nov 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Depends on how tall you are, Stephen. I'm 5'9". I have a dedicated router table that's 36 1/2" high. My Rockler table is 33 1/2" high with the adjustable feet out about 1". I use it for my mortising machine. If you need more height, buy the optional caster set.
Are the holes in the ends of the legs (for the leveling feet) 3/8" or 1/2"?
A shopper on Apr 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: At least 1/2"... they were larger than I would expect. If I recall they may have been even 5/8".
Will this stand accommodate the bench dog 40-102 cast iron router table made to fit on a tablesaw? The description says it’s perfectly sized for all Rockler and Bench Dog router tables yet the depth of the stand is 18” but the router table depth is only 16” Anybody know? Thanks.
Tom H on May 17, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The 40-102 is 27" x 16" and the stand is 26" x 18" with the rails being 2" wide. The table will be supported on all side. However, mounting may be a problem as the router top designed to fit a tablesaw does not have mounting points under the table. A better solution, if you don't already have 40-102, would be to use the Rockler ProMax Cast Iron Router Table Top, item #63481.
