Worked as planned.
I used these under a bed I built to keep the bed off of the wood floor. I cut two packs of these into sixteen pieces. Each piece cut into four pieces. They work great! Had I anticipated the thickness, I would have had the sides of the bed hange down about an eighth of an inch more and not had such a gap under the rails.

What is the fabric content of the felt fabric? Is this felted wool? Is it made from a synthetic fiber? If this fabric were attached underneath a heavy china cabinet that sits above a lacquer-finished piece of fine furniture (i.e. buffet), would it protect that bottom piece of furniture's high gloss furniture finish, should that china hutch be slid across it?

BEST ANSWER: This is a synthetic fiber that’s about 3/16 inch thick. I use it on my furniture to keep them from scratching my hardwood floors. It does a very good job.
How thick is this felt pad?
JFK K on Oct 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I bought some of these and used them on a bed I built. The bed is plywood on the bottom, so I cut these into eight pieces and placed them, evenly spaced, under the bottom of the bed. After about two years with the bed sitting on the pads they are right at 7/32 thick. The bed weighs about three hundred pounds. Hope this helps.
