Elegant knife hinges
These knife hinges are precisely made. The price is high, but the quality is as excellent as one would expect. My only criticism is that the brass screws are soft, so a steel screw is provided to prepare the screw holes -- but the steel screw has a slotted head! I had to find a similar screw. Nonetheless, as I said, the hinges are gorgeous.

Super high quality hinges, brass screws not so much. Stripped very easily, so I had to hit the big box store.

Installation of these excellent hinges (both straight and offset) is simplified by using a simple jig Larry Brusso described in a short piece he wrote for Fine Woodworking in the midsts of time: "Gauge Speeds Knife-Hinge Installation", November/December 1984, p. 53.

Are these knife hinges the Brusso brand or other brand?
BEST ANSWER: When I purchased them I didn't notice a. Rand per say, but they are very high quality. They may be smaller then you think so pay attention to the size in the description. They were perfect for the project I was completing.
