Much of the work of making drawers consists of ripping, planing, grooving and sanding the drawer side material prior to assembly. But with our 4' Pre-Grooved Drawer Sides, that work is already taken care of for you. Simply cut the pieces to length, add a 1/4'' bottom, and join the corners as you wish. The drawer sides are machined from solid hard maple that is planed and sanded to 5/8'' thick. Since the groove is 1/2'' from the bottom of the drawer side, the stock is fully compatible with undermount slides from Blum, Centerline and others, though notching is typically required.
