Clamp Guide retrofit
It's a matter of geometry ~ the wider the grip surface, the better the retention of the guide alignment. A logical addition to the Clamp Guide.

Helpful Accessory for router and circular saw cuts
Although this accessory doesn't actually square the guide for you, it makes it easier to set the guide to your cut line. The problem with most edge guides is that you have to calculate the offset from the cut line to the edge guide. This is a hassle and can lead to out-of-square cuts. This squaring attachment, along with the Emmerson guide and your hardwood strips allows for easy, precise measurements. You install thin hardwood strips to the squaring attachment, and the first router or circular saw cut marks where the blade will cut. Then simply align the hardwood strip with your cutline, and you will get an accurate cut without measuring offsets. I made one side of the hardwood strip for the router and a 1/2" bit, and the other side for my circ. saw. Short of a dedicated track saw, there is no easier or more accurate way to cut with your circular saw. Great for precise router dados too.

A big help on dadoes and regular cuts, keeps things right and stable.
Makes the clamp more stable, these were added to the 55" clamp. I use both the Contractor Saw Plate, and the Rockler Perfect Dado Jig on this setup. By attaching strips of plywood to these Guides, I was able to setup cut line indicators for each tool, one side of the rail is only for the Dado Jig, three other is for the Contractor Saw Plate.

Doesn't really square
I drew a square line across a 24" board and tried these out. There is too much wiggle still. The far end could be off by an inch.

One of the two squaring attachment pieces has two 'tabs' and the other does not. Why is this so? Does the tabbed piece attach to the fixed clamp end or to the sliding clamp end?
Brian S on Mar 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The piece with the tabs goes on the fixed end. The piece without the tabs goes on the sliding end. I don't know why they're different, but they fit perfectly and work great!
Is there a video showing how this works? I am completely baffled by what this does.
Douglas C on May 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No videos I know of, but these are attached to the All-In-One Clamp Guide jaws to give the clamp a wider clamping surface. They also allow you to screw even bigger wooden faces to them to make it even wider. The idea behind it is the help keep you clamp square to the edges you are clamping against. I do not recommend relying on them however to get a perfect 90 degrees. Use a square and mark on both sides, then line up your clamp. I bought them, but I can't say they have really provided much benefit.
