Good strong table leg attachment
Just what I needed to attach legs to my children’s activity table, made 3 sets of legs to use as she grows. Was important that legs could easily be swapped w/o adaptation

Chair is more sturdy than ever. Installation went well but you can not see the bracket because it is covered by the original (cracked) wooden corner piece which was used as a spacer so that the original long mounting bolts could be reinstalled.

what size hanger bolt go with these mounts?
Leonard E on Apr 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: In my experience a 5/16-18 x 2 1/2 hanger bolt works well for a 1 3/4 square leg with this bracket.
I need complete dimensions for this. I am going to try to use this to reattach a leg that has broke the wooden apron brackets?
meher on Jun 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: From edge to edge [Keep in mind, the ends are angled at 45 degrees) 3 1/4" wide, 2 5/8" tall. the two angled edges that bolt to the table apron are 3/4" wide X 2 1/2" long and the top edge that bolts to the table top is 3/4" wide X 2 1/4" long.
How far apart are the holes on these brackets?
katja s on May 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: 2 holes one above the other are 1-1/8" center to center.
Do these brackets come in smaller sizes, for smaller tables?
Poopops! on Jun 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I used them on child's table! Worked fine.
Are they a need to use pocket screws or other joinery to attached the apron to the legs using this? Thanks
Wayne C on Mar 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No.
Two screws tie the bracket to the table top.
Four screws tie the apron to the bracket.
Two wood screws to machine bolts are used to tie the legs to the bracket.
The length of the apron determines if the legs wobble or not.
The wood screws to machine bolts squeeze the legs against the apron.
If the apron is to loose the legs will not tighten up.
Would this be suitable for attaching 3x3 legs? Or should I try and find something bigger

BEST ANSWER: These brackets will work just fine. I also used them on 3" legs. I had no problem, they are very sturdy brackets

BEST ANSWER: It uses pre-drilled pocket holes to mount the brace to the apron. It uses bolts to mount the leg to the brace. You could use hanger bolts to mount the leg to the brace.
How do you install the middle bolt into lable leg?
william t on Oct 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You need a flat surface to which you anchor the bracket. The top of a table leg will typically be a 3" to 4" square block shaped section. The bracket will fit at a 45° angle in a corner of the apron with the table leg nestled inside the aprons and the bracket. You will need to cut a 45° flat off the corner of the table leg that will face the bracket. Cut off just enough to fit the bracket to the table leg and both sides of the apron. The object is to have all leg surfaces be in contact with the apron and the bracket. The cut piece should not extend more than 3/4 of an inch below the mounted bracket. With the leg in place and the bracket attached to the apron, drill starter holes for the hanger bolts. Screw in the hanger bolts by screwing two nuts on the bolt side of the hanger bolt until they are tight together. You can then use a wrench on the nuts to screw in the anchor bolt as though it were an anchor bolt.
How do you install the table leg brackets so that they hold the pieces together firmly? Do you put the screws along the edge of the bracket in first and then tighten the nuts of the two bolts in the center? Should there be some space between the bracket and the leg so it bends slightly and pulls the aprons into the leg tightly?
Dale C. on Oct 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I installed the bracket to the table aprons first, then attached the leg. Yes, I think there is some clearance between the bracket and the leg--the leg is positioned primarily by the aprons, and is just held tightly against them by the lag screws and nuts.
Could you just use some lag bolts to tighten up the legs?
samnormaniii s on Jul 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Provided their not to long.
The advantage of using a part that has wood threads and machine bolt threads is
the ease of removing and installing the table legs.
Wing nuts can then be used.
Table legs loosen from the humidity changes and table movement.
Wing nuts can be tightened easily, where lag bolts will require a wrench each time.
Are these stainless steel wanted to use for an outdoor farmhouse table?
P B on Jul 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have used these corner brackets on two different tables. Easy to install and they provide strong leg-to-table support. Best, for me, is that legs can easily be removed if table needs to be taken apart for storage or transport.
