Nice book for the coffee table
I bought this book when it was on sale and didn't really expect a master course in building tables. Taunton books are usually lavishly produced, whereas this one seems just about average. There are some basic ideas presented here, but it is definitely not a complete table-building course. I do like reading a book or two before I start a new project -YouTube also has a bunch of examples and tutorials that are much more useful, showing different approaches. This book has a nice cover and yes, it's currently my favorite book on the coffee table.

I build tables occasionally, always copying classic American designs. Although there is a bunch of good information on the net, I still prefer to read books.
