Longer open time
I am assembling a complex project that requires me to glue 144 small tenons and their mating mortises. The extra open time will make it much easier to accomplish this. I rely on Titebond for almost all my projects assembly.
The head board and foot board are 7’ wide requiring many clamps.
No seizing while assembling and rock solid after setup with Titebond Extend.

nice slow set time for when it is needed
I bought this for a large glue up project for its slow set time. Assembly of the project took about 20 minutes and the glue stayed open (just barely) for that amount of time. Adjustment of pieces is longer than that. Advise to stir glue before each use due to its composition. Worked well.

Titebond extend does the job
This glue gave me a good 20 min of open time and seems to have the same adherence properties as tho original titebond.

Strong, low creep, long working time
I do a lot of bent laminations and had problems with Titebond 1 creeping under angular load. Contacted the Titebond company and they suggested Titebond Extended. It has been rock solid and has the added advantage of longer working time, which is great when building up a complex lamination. It's slow drying (give it 24 hours) but that isn't a problem for what I do.

It's very hot here in Florida and I do most of my glue ups outside as my shop is very small and I needed more working time. The Extend formula works great.

I build a lot of mitered raised panel doors. Sometimes things don't go as expected during glue up. The extra few minutes of open time has saved a few of my projects from disaster.

I read in a woodworking magazine that this glue is good to use when joining light color woods because the glue line is nearly invisible.
