Tormek KS-123 Knife Angle Setter

Tormek's patented KS-123 Knife Angle Setter jig enables you to dial in the exact angle of any knife edge—including those with tapered blades—when sharpening them on a Tormek low-speed system equipped with a universal support and using any Tormek knife-holding jig. It sets up quickly and easily in three steps: Snap the jig's extension arm onto the universal support with the Angle Setter resting on the machine's waterstone or diamond wheel. Adjust the jig's projection to match the protrusion of the knife blade clamped in a knife-holding jig. Then raise the universal support until the Angle Setter's analog scale matches the edge angle of the knife. You're ready to sharpen with confidence! It conveniently self-adjusts to the diameter of the grinding wheel to account for wear and sets blade edge angles ranging from 8° to 25° per side with geometric precision. The KS-123 is compatible with Tormek T-8 and T-4 Sharpening Systems (#53789 and #53332, sold separately) as well as older models.
