Whether for use in your home shop or on the jobsite, the TWX7CS001 Contractor Saw Module provides all of the practical features of a table saw in a compact, portable package. Designed for use with the TWX7 WorkCentre (#52139, sold separately), it drops neatly into the table opening and is secured with no need for tools. It features a powerful 15A motor and includes a precision carbide-tipped blade. A large handwheel lets you adjust the blade height from zero to 3-3/8'', and the bevel angle from 0-45° for bevels, chamfers and compound miters. The rip fence is secured quickly with the cam levers, and folds up for compact storage when not in use. A miter gauge is also included for use in the dual miter tracks of the WorkCentre table. Last but not least, two dust ports come standard—one on top in the blade guard, the other below the table surface—for excellent dust extraction. The system is very easy to assemble and set up. An optional Outfeed Support (#54905, sold separately) and Side Support (#50280, sold separately) are available for use with larger panels and sheet goods.

Triton Saw Module Works as Expected.
Triton Saw Module works as expected. However the motor housing does not allow insertion into the WorkCentre without some tipping and jiggling to get it inside. One of the WorkCentre slider locks was sticking out to far to get the saw module inside. I was able to correct the problem by filing a little off the slider tip.

A table saw needs a fence, and this product has a fence that is very difficult to use. The fence has two legs that clamp down and move independently. So one has to measure from both end of the saw blade and adjust one leg and then the other and then the first again, etc. For accurate cuts I have had to measure and adjust at a minimum of four times. Tedious.

dan on Sep 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have not weighed it exactly, but it's not that heavy because of the aluminum and plastic construction. My guess is around 30 lbs.
