Triton TWX7RT001 Router Table Module
The engineers at Triton didn't cut any corners in designing their new router table. That's so that you can cut as many as you like, and enjoy the precise results time after time. The precision Router Table Module TWX7RT001 is literally bristling with features (see photo). It is designed to drop neatly into the opening of the TWX7 WorkCentre (#52139, sold separately), where it is locked into place without tools. The extruded aluminum main fence is faced with two adjustable sub-fences, and the whole fence unit can be adjusted precisely with the rear-mounted micro-adjusters. The table is outfitted with a full suite of accessories, including four featherboards, a dust port, bit guard, insert rings, guide pin, and a cleverly designed set of cruciform fence spacers, which slide into a dedicated channel behind the sub-fence, allowing you to joint off material in precise increments. The router table accepts all three Triton plunge routers (TRA001, MOF001 and JOF001) without modification, and these routers mount quickly and easily with the innovative bayonet mount.

Everything works as advertised. I removed the table saw blade marks on a thin, re-sawn board as a simple test. No problems. The 4 feather boards all made contact and the work piece looked good.
I have a queue of projects that will need attention from this tool.

The good: I purchased this specifically because I own the Triton 3hp router and this table is made for that. The router attaches easily and effortlessly. The access hole for the lift mechanism (built into the router) fits ALMOST perfectly. The table insert is also easy to install and remove from the WorkCentre.
The bad: First, UPS sent my package to Colorado and I live in New Jersey. Not Rockler’s fault of course, but it took 3 weeks to actually get it and I had to makeshift something else in the meantime. Second, the plastic table insert around the protruding bit is not well centered... suggesting the mounting plate underneath the table is not well centered. Third, the table is not dead flat. This is important when routing sophisticated work that must be perfectly square on the edge. Finally, the holes drilled in the table top for leveling screws have sharp edges that must be filed. Otherwise wood work pieces get scratched.
Final grade: 3 stars. The table should be cast iron ideally or at least extruded aluminum.
