It just works. FAST!
Basically, this is a large volume of super glue but it works amazingly well. I had 5 VERY loose chairs and it took a bottle and a half to fix all the joints.

Glad to have found this stuff and I'll recommend it and Rockler as the place to get it.

Woodworking Experience:
Fixed old chairs
I read that this product was good but was unprepared with just how well it actually worked. My chairs are almost 40 years old and weren't great quality to start with. Using this product on the joints made a huge difference. One application was all it took to secure all the loose joints. I would recommend it to anyone.

A real time and hassle saver
Easy to use and works great. I especially like the extended tubes. Cut it back and re-use if it becomes clogged. However, if joints are loose enough to fall apart they should be taken apart and re-glued.

Woodworking Experience:
So far, so good
Works better than I thought. One error I made was to tape the surrounding area in case some glue would wick out. Anyway a little glue did move out, and then followed the tape line, making a bigger area to clean up. I ordered the large bottle, as the size seemed small, and I had a couple joints to do. However, the small one would have been enough.

Woodworking Experience:
Wow! Fast, easy, and tight!
I fixed 5 MCM chairs with loose joints between the seat and back. For 4/5, I simply put it in the joint and waited. For the 5th, the separation was wider so I clamped it first and then put in the Wonderlock. All look perfect now, joints are tight. It's only been 2 weeks so I hope the bond continues to hold!

Repair of chairs
Outstanding product ! Easy to use. Reviews here and online led me to give this product a try. Glad I did ! Highly recommended. The joints of the chairs are now rock solid ! In fact, it's the only product I can find that specifically repairs chair joints.

It works
I had my doubts but the stuff does work. If you use a clamp it may glue your clamp to the repair, so you have to provide for that. Works best if the joint is tight.

WonderLok is a wonder! We had two dining room chairs work loose because we had a thick rug under the table and chairs and a couple of large folks back the chairs up with their full weight on them. I tightened the screws, used larger screws and tried every strategy I could think of to tighten the chairs. Wonderlok was finally the solution. I was skeptical, but just follow the directions. 6 months later, still the chairs are tight as can be.

does the 20 gram item come with additional applicator tips?
A shopper on Aug 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does come with 2 tips for small spaces. When you are done, just turn the bottle up right and squeeze the excess out , remove the tip and put the cap back on and you're ready for the next use. This stuff really works.
how do you get it into loose joints on a large rocking chair? do you drill tiny access holes ?
John W on Jul 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I used it on a customer's set of squeaky dining room chairs, and she has remained satisfied after more than a year. This wood expander has a very thin consistency, so if your chair had loose joints, I believe the product will seep into them without having to drill holes. I suppose it also depends on how much shrinkage you've got as to whether this alone will do the job. If there are multiple loose joints, because a rocking chair is constantly moving/stressing the joints, you might want to take the chair apart and re-glue the joints with thin wedges.
I need to re-glue 4 chairs and each chair has a dowel-back with 9 dowels each. How many bottles of this glue should I order?
Laurie S on May 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I think 2 of the large bottles would do it. Be very careful or you will stick your finger together. It works great!
Is this ok to use for outdoor futniture in humid area?
Picasso on Sep 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. As a CA glue the wood will be much more affected by the humidity than the glue.
Can this be used on acrylic like a Corian countertop to repair a crack? I need an ultra thin Cyanoacrylate that wicks like WonderLokEm says it does but have heard that it heats significantly when curing and I don't want to melt the Corian creating a divot.
Drew K on Mar 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The seamer used to glue corian together also heats up. To bend corian it must be heated in an oven until it is mallable enough to bend around inside radius or out side radius. I do not believe that this product will damage the corian.
Wonderlok 'Em says it is for chair joints. I have a chair leg where the wood is beginning to split. Can I apply Wonderlok and then clamp the leg till dry? Will this fix the crack in the wood leg?
Pamela K on Apr 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would think that it should work just fine, I used the wonderlok on two different chairs and it worked well on putting both chairs back together. On my mothers rocker one of the spindles was broken applied the glue used a clamp and it works just great, I also fixed my wifes coat rack she uses for her craft business! Give it a try !
John W on Jul 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've used it on 3 items over the past couple years. It's very watery and I've let gravity draw the WonderLok into the joint and let it dry. So far it hasn't failed me.

end table sides wobble from side to side, will this glue stop them from moving?
john m on Mar 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've used this stuff many times and it works great for me. I had an antique bed head board that had motion in it and I used wonderlok on it--it worked. VB
will this work on holding wedges in hammer handles from coming loose?
John G on Oct 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I've used it to fix a creaking staircase... its worked for a couple of years now. It's incredibly fluid super glue... fluid like water. But it sets up quick and it seems to be somewhat flexible or it would not have lasted on the steps (1800s farmhouse) so you should be good with gluing shims. But for your application, once you pound in the wedges, finish with an electricians staple, that's a much better method than any glue though, it will last a lifetime.
I can not attach the applicator to the bottle - hole on applicator is too small - how do you attach it?
j r on Apr 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The applicator is a bit tight and requires some force to press it over the bottle tip.
I have a solid wood pecan door with very small gaps in the joints. You can see daylight through the door. will this product fill those joints?
Stanley D on Mar 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: i doubt if this is the right product for that problem. It is like super glue to hold joints together but I don’t think it would work to fill gaps. It is great for loose leg joints on chairs.
