Worst buy I ever made.Posted February 12, 2014
Bought 4 of these, on sale, right before they closed the Mesquite store. They absolutely will not tighten. The other side loosens up at the same time you turn the handle. Couldn't take them back, now they are just wall decoration. Worst buy I have ever made.

These clamps are not Jorgensons , but for the price they are just fine and you can never have to many clamps.

Before buying, one should read all the reviews 2 stars or less. These are not Jorgenson equivalent clamps as noted by others. The threads are coarse, the pivot nuts do not work smoothly, the wood in the jaws is suspect. Mine stay on the wall until all my Jorgensons are used up. /p>

Very sturdy clamps and are at a super price. Although they do not clamp down as tight as the more expensive Jorgenson brand. Not sure if Jorgenson uses a finer treaded rod or machined smoother or higher quality metal.

Too many clamps? Not on your life. These are certainly a great addition to my shop. 8" are perfect. Handles are sturdy. Got them on sale and with "free shipping" it was the perfect. Very satisfied with this purchase. Go Rockler. You're #1.
