Sleek, streamlined and totally concealed, PuK chargers (#66909) make recharging your phone elegant, effortless and hassle-free. Just set your phone over the hot spot and it starts charging. PuK charging hot spots use the universal Qi wireless charging standard, an induction technology that transmits an electric charge through up to 5mm of wood. For a concealed look, inset it into the bottom face of your desk, chair, counter or table. For an exposed look, you can install it in a through-hole and purchase one of the optional cover plates, available in black or white. With no exposed wires to fray or tangle, and no charging docks to clutter up your desk, you'll almost look forward to charging your phone. Zens chargers are of the highest quality and performance meeting the needs of furniture/commercial grade use.
Note: May be mounted sub-surface, or surface-mounted with optional cover plates. Zens works with any Qi compatible device. Qi is an open interface standard that defines wireless power transfer using inductive charging, developed by the Wireless Power Consortium. The system uses a charging pad and a compatible device, which is placed on top of the pad, charging via resonant inductive coupling. Mobile device manufacturers that are working with the standard include Apple, Asus, Google, HTC, Huawei, LG Electronics, Motorola Mobility, Nokia, Samsung, BlackBerry, Xiaomi, and Sony. First released in 2008, the Qi standard had by 2019 been incorporated into more than 160 smartphones, tablets, and other devices.
