Work stands and miter stands are really two sides of the same coin—so why have one when you can have both without sacrificing shop space? The Portacube PM-8000 lets you have both, thanks to a central work surface that rotates on a horizontal axis. Attach your miter saw, planer or other benchtop tool to the table, then flip it to the underside when you want an unobstructed work surface. Extension wings fold out on both sides for plenty of outfeed support. Each wing features a leveling platform that you can raise flush with the table of your miter saw. When not needed, the platforms lower on a scissored mechanism to store flush within the extension wings. The entire stand folds into a neat cube for storage or transport. An extendable handle and large wheels allow easy portability.
