Easy sliders
I love them. I have large tile on my floor. I have put these slides on my chair legs. The size makes it so it does not catch on the edges of the tile.

The Gliders Excellent, hardware not so much...
The head of the screw broke off, luckily we had plenty of extra screws and found eight better quality screws in the collection, making everything work out fine.

BEST ANSWER: I used mine on some gaming arm chairs and they slide reasonably will on a short loop carpet. If the item is not extremely heavy they will work well. The larger the diameter the better.
