35 mm hinge hole plug
We purchased doors to remove mirrors on medicine cabinets inset in walls. I plugged the holes in the doors, filled cracks.
Painted area same matching color, LOOKS LIKE NEW!

35mm hinge hole repair
35mm hinge cup hole repair kit worked better then expected. Plugs fit precisely and match the wood grain very closely. Repair is not totally un-noticeable if staining. Would remind user to dry fit first then apply a very lite coating of glue before tapping into place.

I'm so glad that for this kit. It help to make the holes in my door invisible. And thanks to the salesman at the store who was most polite and helpful.

Plugs are great, too bad my holes turned out to be 40 mm for a pocket door set. Still had to hand make them because nobody offers a plug that size. Live and learn.

They are expensive, yet it beats turning a plug on a lathe.

I have added Rev-a-Shelf hardware to two cabinets that require the bottom hinge to be moved up 32mm. Old holes must be plugged to allow new holes to be drilled.
Steve M on Jun 28, 2016
I want to reverse the old doors and paint them, so I'll fill the original hinge holes and drill new ones on the other side. The doors are cherry, so I picked a matching wood to (hopefully) prevent cracking with humidity changes. The outsides of the doors are pretty beat up, but the insides are good as new.

I decided to add some pullout organizers to the cabinets and needed to fill in the previous hinge holes on the doors.

Decided to not use concealed hinges (face frame) because overlay hinges allowed the cabinet doors to open wider. Had already preped some doors for concealed. Needed to fix. Happy Wife!

Will these work to fill a standard door knob hole?
Kathy on Aug 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No. These are used to fill the hole on the BACK of your door that has been drilled to receive a European style hinge.
Will this fit the hinge hole on the inside Ikea cabinet door (Utrusta)?
carl c on Jul 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I can't answer difinitivly but most European hinges are 35 mm. You glue it in and sand it flush. If your door is melamine or already finished there are knock in plugs that might work better. I looked in rockler catalog and couldn't find it. They are plastic and you can get them in several colors.
What is the size in inches?
Adele R on Oct 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: 1 3/8” basically. 35 mm is 1.37795” and 1 3/8 is 1.375”
