This drill bit is sized specifically to drill out the shorter cap blank on our Majestic Pen Kit (#50413, sold separately). The same bit is used for both fountain and rollerball pen kits. The drill bit is made from high speed steel, precisely machined to diameter and tipped with a brad point that prevents wandering as you start the bit in your blank. The shank is reduced to 1/2'' to fit into your drill press.
