Festool 496140 foam interface pads are 5mm thick, allowing the Planex sanding pad to conform to irregular shapes, like rounded corners. Interface pads also allow the abrasive to float, producing smoother results on delicate profiles and contours. Use one interface pad for slight curves, and stack two for even more contour. The interface pads also help reduce sanding effort by bringing the sanding pad closer to the level of the brushes around the perimeter. Use with sanding pad set 496106.
Note: NOT compatible with Planex LHS 2 225 EQ(I) (from September 2020), nor with Planex LHS-E 225 EQ
