The Festool 577252 Soft Interface Sander Backing Pad fits the PLANEX LHS 2 225 (commonly known as the Planex 2.0). It has a double layer of foam, making it ideal for processing very soft compounds and soft substrates. The interface pad attaches to the hard plastic sanding pad on the Planex 2 with 8 plastic screws. The hook-and-loop coating then allows you to attach your choice of abrasive in the usual manner (Festool recommends Granat Net).
