Very Nice Blank
Turns about the same as any acrylic, so you need sharp tools and a patient hand, But looks amazing with gun metal or pewter.

Any idea as to how this would work if it was crushed and used for a filler in a woodturning application instead of using turquoise?
Dennis on Jun 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It won't get the same color since it is acrylic and plastic it wiill have a whitish color to it and not the true turquoise color
Do you put this in clear epoxy to get turquoise color

BEST ANSWER: No it's a matter of going through several grits of abrasive. Basically 100-10000grit. It is also suggested to use water to cool the blank while sanding. Sand paper and water and a little time that's all you need
