Good product
Good product. I repurposed a Formica counter top by attaching these table legs and turned it into a Lego table for my kids. The legs are adjustable and the table can grow with my kids. Very pleased with the results

The legs are strong, easily adjustable and easy to attach to a table top.
I like being able to adjust the height of 2 slim tables
In my sewing room. I have a small sewing room and have been using a slender door for my sewing machine. I cut the door in half and made two smaller sewing tables. I use the shorter deal to sew on and can adjust both tables to cut material. The adjustable legs made my sewing table much more versatile.

HIgh quality
Solid quality. I like that the top and bottom are both black. I think it looks more 'professional'. I used two sets of these on a custom train table for a children's museum.

Great legs!
We had to throw together a bunch of tables for a studio space, and used these legs with hollow-core doors for the tops. It actually looked great in the end. The legs are more elegant than they look in the pictures, and do angle out slightly. It all made for a light, kind of retro look.

radiator table
I did not want to enclose my radiator to capture as much heat as possible so I opted to make a "console table" from a thick piece of pine 48"X12"x 2" stained it the right color, attached these adjustable (that is the key) since the height had to stop below the window. The legs are very heavy duty, sturdy and adjustable. Piece of cake!

These legs will replace legs on a children's work table that are now too short. The legs appear to be from the same OEM, only longer.

I purchased these legs for an office table. Very happy with the quality and sturdiness. I'm creating a second office table and want the same quality and look of the first. Especially like that they're adjustable, so if I want to use the table for a different purpose I have more flexibility.

How easy is it to adjust the leg height? I want to go from coffee table height to card table and back again once or twice a week.
Bevie M on Dec 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It's not hard, takes a simple allen wrench. However, it's a small part that could come out, and I can't image having fun doing that adjustment every week. I'd be tempted to combine these legs, with these http://www.rockler.com/click-foldable-table-leg, and fold down the longer ones when you have a coffee table, and fold down then you want a card table height - it will mean two sets of legs, which might not be the look you're going for.
What is the max weight capacity you would recommend for these?
And maximum size of table?

The table I plan to use it with has the following dimensions:
35.75 inches wide
47-70.5 inches long

Two removable leaves:
11.75 inches each

It's an older table from the 80's still in great shape and has a hefty weight to it (best guess - 20-30 lbs) + people leaning on it during a game. I lost the original metal legs and brackets and the replacement wood one's we built for it aren't holding up.

BEST ANSWER: I had a very nice desk top I had saved from a desk that the legs, hutch and side pieces got damaged by movers but I kept the top. I needs a cutting work table for my sewing room. It had to be lower than an average table. Bought a set of these legs as they can be set at several heights. They worked great for that and made a very nice sturdy table. It is about 5 ft long by 30 inches wide and very heavy wood. I have used several sewing machines on it at one time and several of them are very heavy. It does not bow down and these legs are very very sturdy.
Can casters be added to these legs?
Julie o on Feb 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not to my knowledge. I didn't look for this function in these legs as it wasn't necessary or desired. The "feet" on the legs come attached and do not appear to be removable to add casters. A nice product, but if casters are desired you may have to search for another type of leg.
What are the measurements on the base plate? Where are the screw holes?
A shopper on Aug 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The base plate is 6 inches on each of the short sides and approx 8 inches on the long side. The points are rounded, so the measurements are approximate. The long leg of a 6x6 triangle should be 8.5 inches. There are 6 screws, one at each point and one in the middle of each side. Starting with the outside corner screw, the short side screws are at about 1/2 in, 2 3/4 in, and 5 1/2 in. Starting with the same screw, on the long side the screw positions are at 1/2 in, 4 in, and 7 5/8 in. Any other questions? Sue C
What is the finish used on these table legs? Is it painted or something else?
Popfish on Sep 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Probably a baked on paint finish. It's not a black raw steel finish nor is it powder coated.
How thick is the thickest part of the tubing?
Joseph D on Jul 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't have it right next to me to measure, but it's about 1.25". It looks just like any other table legs you see in a school setting. I've installed 8 of these and have been happy with it. Thanks. -CR
If I use these does the leg contact with a wood floor need protection so we don't scratch the floor?

I want to replace the bottom of this leg with dowels- what size of dowels would I need?
ip k on Jan 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: not sure why you will want to add a dowel to this leg. anything added would have to be very large around to handle any weight. I used mine on a discarded nice desk top to make a cutting and other use table in my sewing room. They work great since they are adjustable and being in a wheel chair I can lower them up or down. Very very sturdy and well made. Easy to fasten on table. Thanks Rockler for the great product!!!
