Exotic African Padauk is an superb hardwood prized for its rich color and grain, as well as its excellent hardness and durability. The color ranges from pale pink to a deep reddish brown. It has a coarse, open grain with good natural luster, is easily worked with sharp tools, takes an excellent finish and polishes beautifully. Offered here as a kiln-dried slab with a wavy, natural edge, planed to 1-1/8'' thick—an excellent choice for table tops.
