With their smaller radius, Amana's miniature spoilboard bits are great for cutting into tight inside corners. They feature a unique 2+2 cutter configuration, with two vertical knives that score the perimeter, and two horizontal up-shear knives that provide a smooth finish at the bottom of the cut. The insert cutters are solid carbide, and can be easily rotated or changed once dull. For surfacing solid woods, it is recommended to remove both bottom scorers. Proper torque rating for the screws is 2-3Nm. Most commonly used on CNCs, the bits are also suitable for use with router sled machines.
Features:
- Use for resurfacing CNC spoilboards, planing large slabs or glued up panels using a CNC or router sled, and for rabbeting and slotting
- 4-sided solid carbide insert knives can be rotated and replaced
- Exclusive carbide grade for highest quality of cut
- 2+2 design for a clean perimeter and a smooth bottom
