Overall a nice catch at a reasonable price
Solid and well made. Somewhat adjustable for opening/closing . Consider strongly installing these before putting on cabinet backs- quite fussy to do so after the cabinet install!!. Double sided turner’s tape helps- but far easier from the open back before the install!!

Two reasons, this will take up the weight of the door in the closed position and this latch has way more class than a magnet.

I have used these catches before and they work for my applications. The adjust ability in the catches allows for the necessary pressure needed to hold the doors closed but not too tight. They seem to be the best catches I have found for this application.

Do you feel this would function as an interior door latch? The door is only 1" in width and area for a knob is only 1 3/4"(I will just place cabinet knobs/handles). I am repurposing a 30" x 72" fully louvered interior shutter to allow better heat/AC circulation.
