Bed Center Rail Fasteners
I had looked in many sources to find something which would do the need I had. I was building a platform in order to lower my bed and remove the box springs. It worked wonderfully. This was used on a King size bed, I elected to used two post rails.

New bed frame a snap to assemble
Our new wooden queen bed frame is a snap to assemble upstairs after building it in the garage. The box spring would not have made it up the narrow stairs so the plans called for building a supportive frame and gluing and screwing it once the boards were upstairs. Instead of that final solution, these handy brackets allow the frame to be assembled anywhere and later be disassembled and moved if our need changes.

I'm hoping these will be faster to assemble/disassemble a bed for the cross member support boards verses using screws in the boards. Once installed they will require no tools to disassemble the bed.

When the users said that they used it for a center rail under a box spring, did the rail go lengthwise or across the width of the bed?
BEST ANSWER: The rail would go across the width of the bed.

Is this the item I need to keep my mattress in place on my platform frame?
BEST ANSWER: These are the brackets to mount a center support rail (runs the length of the bed frame) under your box spring & mattress. It will not prevent your mattress from shifting side-to-side, but it does provide stability/support in the center of the bed -- particularly useful for queen and king beds.

I have a typical metal frame queen size bed it seems that the rail at the foot of the bed has gotten lost or fell off it seems that the rail is two pieces of angel iron that are held together by a piece of hardware what do i need to buy?
