These rugged chair braces have a smooth, rounded profile that won't feel rough when you reach beneath chairs to pick them up. Solid zinc-plated steel lends an enormous amount of strength to right angle joints, crucial for helping chairs withstand the heavy racking pressures they are commonly subjected to. Chair/corner braces also work well for attaching table tops, reinforcing table legs, attaching shelves and as joinery hardware for knockdown cabinetry. Corner braces are stamped from heavy gauge steel.

chair supports
These are what I expected.. I have five chairs to restore and I plan on using these for extra support. I'll be coating these with a golden oak stain before installing them, same with the screw heads.

Church pew tie downs
These hair corner braces work well to screw church pews to the floor. Nice looking, smooth with no rough edges that allows a firm hold to the floor.

I use chair braces for chair repair and any application to support a corner or joint. The finish look is good also.

good product
Good little piece of hardware that does the job. I would only use these braces where they are not easily seen in the final product.

Chair braces available in bronze?
On a stool, will one brace per leg suffice? Also, will the zinc finish accept paint? Thanks!
BEST ANSWER: one brace/leg should suffice...if you buff the zinc with steel wool to take off the shine they should hold paint.
