This was used to cover a lag screw that is holding a newel post in place to make it removable for taking bulky things up stairs that is really tight. Was dissappointed that it was made in China.

Used to cover bed bolts on a convertible crib. Antique finish went well with the cherry finish on the crib. Wish they were made in the USA though.

BEST ANSWER: Drill a hole slightly longer than the bolt if you want it hidden by this cover. Then drill a hole that is hidden by a joint that is perpendicular to your bolt and install a barrel nut sized to receive the bolt.
