Very Practical
When I purchased the inserts, I thought of them as an accent to my turning; however, when I set the wick right--just below the top of the glass, they burned for approximately four to five hours with little to no smoke.

Simple, but elegant
Toughest thing was deciding what design to make the lights. So I made four different ones. Took less than 5 minutes on the lathe and came out with some very elegant lights.

A great product for gift turnings, but are overpriced. Sorry, no photos. I keep giving them away before I remember to take pictures.

Simple
This was a fun project. The directions were easy to follow. I don’t understand why the kit includes only 2 funnels, but I knew that when I ordered it.

Nice gifts for a dinner invite or around holiday time
These are great little candles. The only issue I had with them is that I did not turn one of the holes wide enough and when the season changed the glass broke.

Look great
They look great but I have yet to find time to turn an appropriate base. I have some seasoned black walnut that I think will be great for this -- just give me some time!!

Would recommend to others.
The lamps were exactly what I expected. Rockler only sent half my order as the final shipment. I must say though, one phone call to them and they made it right immediately.

Have some of my husbands turned holders and needed lamp inserts for them. I gave the ones he used to have to a member of Sarasota Woodturners after he died and now have found lamps with no inserts. Happy to have found them.

can scented warming oil be used instead of plain lamp oil?
