Planer blades as expected
I search the web to look at the reviews on the carbide blades. It was mixed so I purchased theses blades .They are holding up well as advertised.

Hold up very well. I mostly use on rough air dried lumber. Easy to reverse. Would recommend highly.

Great blades
I am on my second or third set of blades. I use my planer a lot. They really do the job.

Have the dewalt 2 speed planer, used the knives both work fine. Have reduced snipe further by putting a 12"x 35" piece of MDF over the tables to extend them, now it's time to add plastic laminate to that MDF to decrease friction further!!

They work
They work just fine but it still gripes me that you can't resharpen them. Dewalt planned this I'm sure to generate more income. They DID make them easy to change however and you can reverse them for another set of sharp blades.

Find Carbide Knives
The reversible knives are nice, but these are high speed steel and wore down much faster than expected. Find a set of carbide knives. Infinity Cutting Tools has a carbide set for $225, which is pretty steep, but let this planer flex its muscles.

Planer knives were sharp - but did not stay that way.
My Dewalt planer is ~ 10 years old. The original set of knives lasted almost 3 years, before I had to replace them. I thought that was pretty good service.
This set of planer knives lasted about 1 week before they were dull. and had a few nicks in the edge. What a disappointment. at ~ $60 for a new set of cutters I'd have expect they lasted at least 3 months before the sound changed. I think there's something about the "hardened steel" metallurgy, or the temper, or the as-provided hardness & sharpness of the edges has changed for the worse.

I will hone them, and try to get them back to the way they were when new. But I'm not happy.

Can someone please tell me the width and thickness of these blades? Thanks
Rob M on Mar 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Sorry I do not know the width and thickness of theDW7352 13" blades. I do know that the blades fit the DW735 planer and the blades work great. They automatically go on the indexing pin no work needed to set height.
Would these fit a Ryobi 13" planer?
Phillip P on Jun 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The alignment holes probably won't match.
can these blades be used in a DW733?
Matt H on Sep 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Matt, I don't know. Have you looked it up in your owner's manual? My guess is you should be able to download a manual if you have lost yours. Sorry I can't be more help.
Do these fit a DW 735 13 inch planer?
