Excellent coverage of many table designs
This book on dining tables offers very good design details on a wide range of table styles. One of the table designs may well meet your needs. If not, then the design information contained herein should allow you to create your own designs with confidence.

Really good book
This is a really good book. It has a lot of good information and guidance for anyone interested in building any type of table. Read and understand the first chapters since the information is applicable to any of the tables constructed in the book. Nice clear descriptions of the construction techniques.

Both my daughter and I are looking for dining table plans. I thought I'd see what this has to offer rather spending a lot of time searching individual plans.

Does this book contain plans for a round dining table?
Lucy M on Dec 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I believe it does.
Does the book contain information about building extension tables?
Julian C on Aug 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it has three designs for sliding top tables that will accept one or more leaves. There are also designs for a folding table and a take-apart table, which can be stored and brought out when additional seating is needed. I like this book because he explains basic design and construction methods so that you can modify any of the designs, and the instructions give you a good idea of whether you are ready to tackle a particular project (including whether you have the tools). Designs are arranged from simple to complex and instructions are easy to follow.
