Earlex Fluid tip needle
I'm replacing all of my 60+ year old doors on the main floor of our home and I just got done spraying lacquer on (7) 6 panel oak doors, frames & trim. I needed a 1.5mm needle for my Earlex 5500HVLP sprayer for the job and ordered it through Rocklers. The doors & all trim turned out perfect. I'm very happy with my Earlex product and the professional results I've gotten out of it.

need to use my Earlex 5500 to spray finish coat and the dvd recommended 1.5 needle for this
RON A on Jul 12, 2017
I didn't receive this needle when I received my earlex 5500 recently when I purchased from Rockler. It only came with the one needle. Not to happy about that actually. I mean I did pay a lot of money for the machine itself & was advertised as having both needles however mine only came with one, which is the bigger of the two.

Even though these are expensive, when you can't find your original needle because it's lost in the remodeling, it can be very irritating and you'll wish you had a spare!

Will this spray latex paint that cannot be thinned with water?
A shopper on Apr 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Too thin you're latex paint use Floetrol and with oil base paint use Penetrol. I did not know about these products and till I watched that DVD video that comes with the Earlex machine. My professional results are greatly appreciated by my customers. You can find these at your local woodworking and or paint dealerships. You Won't need any luck! Just don't use water. Good day
