Small part sorter
I use this to dump a jar of salvaged nuts, bolts washers or screws into and sort everything to different containers. Keeps things together and easy to scrape into the final container

Impulse buy I use all the time
Bought this on an impulse with other needed items and thought I might only use it for those big sorting jobs, but I use this thing every time I am hunting a screw or hardware. Its also a great place to put all the parts of something you are taking apart !

Woodworking Experience:
Great for Crafting
I looked at all the craft options online to find something to use to sort buttons on that had a big enough opening to empty them back into my button jars.

This was perfect! I added some peel and stick black felt and I can easily see them and they empty right back into the jar without hanging onto the felt.

Well made and I can only imagine how helpful they would be out in the garage or shop for sorting nuts, bolts, screws!

I have had one of these for several years and use it very often. I decided to buy several more for family members. I am sure they will find it as useful as I do.

These trays are very handy. I keep losing them to friends and family so I had to buy more.

This is the best way of sorting small parts. I probably have 50 lbs. of small nuts, bolts, screws, etc. I have a homemade version of one of these but, it's more suitable for larger parts. TIP: only sort a hand full of miniature hardware/parts at a time, too much in the pan is a bit overwhelming.

This will come in handy for sorting screws, nails, washers, nuts and bolts, coins...you name it. When you are done, you can just pour everything else back into wherever you kept them. Rockler has a lot of useful and inexpensive stuff like this.

Like most, I have several tins of mongrel screws,
nuts, washers, nails, tacks, etc.
The search process is dump the tin on the table,
visually search then refill the tin. This last part (the “pour”) is when I typically drop a couple of pieces onto the floor. Hopefully the funnel tray
will avoid this problem.

No room to use a funnel to drain oil from my lawn tractor. Angling in one corner should allow it to fit under the drain plug.

How wide is the mouth opening of the funnel?
Charles M on Jan 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Sounds like you must have a special reason for asking for this kind of detail. I went my shop and carefully measured the opening’s INSIDE dimensions. The opening is wider at the top (2-3/8”) than the bottom (1-7/8). I hope this gives you what you need.
