Start seeing better results today! If you're straining to read small measurements, but don't need constant vision correction, these bifocal magnifiers could be the perfect solution. Sleek, lightweight and designed for comfort, they come in several corrective powers. The uncorrected upper lens protects your eyes, while the corrective lower insert improves visibility of small scales, intricate joints, layout lines and nearby objects.

Features:

 • Shatter-proof wrap-around lenses.
 • Anti-fog coating.
 • Adjustable bands.
 • If your required bi-focal strength is unknown, visit a pharmacy and test out several reading glasses.

I have found these bifocal glasses comfortable and easy to wear. These glasses preform well either at a saw or layout word at a bench.

Bifocal safety glasses
I purchased the 2.5 glasses. I am happy with the performance of the glasses. They do not fog up and have remained scratch free after many months of use. They enable me to see the 1/16 increments on my tape measure for tight joints. I own several pair and buy them as gifts for my fellow woodworkers who envy mine.

Why did I wait to buy these...
At the end of the day, make it easy on yourself, just buy them and be safe... comfortable, safe

Why your at it you might as well buy 3 glasses as you will only send the time looking around for them once you get use to them, when you have one pair

Great pair of shop glasses with reading bifocal.
Comfortable and snug-fitting glasses. Bifocals allow me to read small measurements. Bargain for the price.

My eyes are getting old and can’t see the tape measure anymore. These are perfect. One pair like this that I already have broke off at the hinge. Before my second pair breaks, I want these as a backup.

William B on May 24, 2017
I just had eye surgery and my current prescription safety glasses were not appropriate for shop work while my eyes recover.
As my distance vision was corrected, my only need was for reading a tape measure and eye protection.
I am hoping the bifocal is perfect. I tried reading glasses at the local box store to determine which magnifying power to order.
I will have corrective glasses made in about 6 weeks, post surgery and may keep the BSG just for the shop. Eye will see. LOL:)

To make my old eye work better. But, the glasses don't last very long. They tend to break where they fold. I have had several pairs & they all do the same thing. But, the bifocal part works great.
Floyd H on Jan 24, 2016
They appear to be bifocal lenses with a decent bifocal height to the lens.
Lauri M. R on Jan 18, 2016
Did a search for reading glasses for carpenters and this came up. My husband came in from his workshop to get his regular reading glasses and I thought it might be a great idea to get him a pair that he can actually leave in the shop.

Can you wear them over your regular glasses?
A shopper on Jul 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: My answer is no, they are not designed to wear over your regular glasses. In fact, I had some difficulty with them because I have a short nose and the nosepieces didn't fit. Sorry.
I need 1 . 25 glasses
Katherine D on Mar 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: After using over the counter reading glasses a good many years, I don't believe you will see much difference between a +1.25 and+ 1.5 diopter strengths . If you have no idea where to start, consider using this average age formula: If you are under 40 years old, you probably should start with a +1.25 strength. Between ages 40 and 45, you probably need +1.75. At ages 45 to 50, you probably need +2.00. After age 50, you probably need +2.25. Since 1.5 is the lowest strength they have available, I would choose it. I myself, with 20/20 vision, use + 2.5.
WARRANTY? i BOUGHT 6 PAIR, some to use, some to give away. On 4 pair the right side falls off,not when bending, but platic just breaking.
