What really sets the Centrotec chuck apart from the crowd is it's positive hold on the bit. The 1/4'' hex portion of the bit extends much further into the drill, engaging directly with the drive system for virtually zero run-out and better precision. Bit changes are also extremely fast, and the Centrotec chuck is also 50% smaller and 80% lighter than a standard chuck, allowing better access to tight spaces. Great for gripping bit holders, wood drill bits, Forstner drill bits, drill countersinks and much more. Impact-resistant design also enables the use of masonry drills.
