Festool's KHC 18 EB-Basic Cordless Rotary Hammer Drill delivers 2.6 joules of impact energy for fast and powerful results in a wide variety of materials, thanks to its brushless EC-TEC motor and pneumatic hammer mechanism. The tool switches between hammer-drilling, chiseling and impact-drilling modes quickly with the turn of a dial. Its SDS-Plus chuck can be removed and replaced with an included keyless chuck, without the need for tools. An electronic kickback stop minimizes the risk of injury should the chuck jam, and a safety lock prevents accidental starts. Its ergonomic handle is vibration dampened for added comfort during use. Other helpful features include a side handle, depth stop, LED light and a scaffold hook. Dust Extraction Adapter AV-BHC/KHC (#73483, sold separately) can integrate the drill into Festool's system of dust extractors to minimize dust and debris.
