Flexcut's mallet chisels feature a stout handle that can withstand the impact of a mallet—ideal when carving dense hardwoods, or when deep cuts are required. Each mallet tool features a comfortable 5-1/4'' octagonal ash handle, which is joined to the blade with a brushed brass ferrule. The blades are made from high carbon spring steel, and sharpened and honed to a razor edge. Exceptionally hard, the steel is known to hold its edge for a very long time. Made in USA.
