No more rattling glass when you close cabinet doors - these retainers feature interchangeable, soft rubber tips that push the glass securely against the frame. Both clip and tips can be flipped over for a variety of different offsets ranging from flush to 1/2" setback (measuring from back of glass to surface of surrounding frame). Each package includes eight clips, eight long rubber tips, eight short rubber tips and eight screws. Now in two finishes (zinc and antique bronze) to match your decor!

Cabinet Door Glass Retainer Clips
Great product, metal and multiple rubber tips give lots of options for glass thickness and wood cut out depth.
Nice bronze finish, no glass rattle much better than original plastic clips that rattle crack and fall off.

Glass retainer clips
I used these to install mirrors in four medicine cabinets I made. They are simple to install and just use the appropriate rubber and a screw.

what is the total length of the item?
V A on Apr 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Width: 3/8", Total length 1", Length from screw end to bend 5/8", Screw slot length 1/4", Bend offset height ~1/8", these were measured to nearest 1/32" sample of one but they all appear to be the same in one bag.
Will these work on 3/4 inch insert
May D on Feb 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you mean 3/4" from the glass surface to the face of the wood I doubt it. Don't think the rubber inserts of the clips are long enough
Would four clips be enough for one kitchen cabinet door glass 1/8" X 13" X 18"?
Steve R on Oct 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: One clip may be enough on the 13" side but I would definitely use two clips on the 18" side. The best scenario would be two clips on each side.
The glass panels we have are flush with the wood. These appear to work on recessed glass by design. Has anyone had any experience using these with glass that it flush with the wood surface that the retainer screws into ?
Al F on Oct 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The retainer clips will work with a flush or a recessed panel. All you have to do is turn the metal clip over and use whichever portion of the rubber bumper fits your situation the best I have use them for many different applications and they work fantasticEnter an answer to this question.
Will thrse work on a cabinet door that has a 1/4 inch inset?
Ralf G on Oct 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes
What is the screw size in this package, #2, #3, #4 etc.??
Gus G on Aug 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The screws require a #2 Phillips to install, a #1 will work, but is a little small and can strip out with to much torque. The screws are 3/8 " in length with a fine thread pattern. Unfortunately, I don't know the actual diameter size, but they are very thin and designed for wood. The screw heads are of a pan design and are 1/4" wide.
Are the rubber bumpers that come with the glass retainer clips available in longer lengths? The ones provided are 3/16" too short for these particular glass tables.
Mary F on Sep 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: These 2 lengths of bumper that come with them are all I'm familiar with
Will these accommodate a 3/8" inset?
Shawn on Sep 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they will. I use them to hold stained glass panels in a frame. The stained glass panel has 3/8" zinc around it.
how long are the longer rubber inserts?
A shopper on Jul 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The total length of the longer rubber insert is 1/2" 3/8" of the rubber insert protrudes below the metal bracket. The total length of the shorter rubber insert is 1/4". 1/8" of the rubber insert protrudes below the metal bracket. I use these to hold stained glass panels in a custom-built wood frame and have only used the short inserts.
