I LUCKED OUT!!
Luckily, I measured every aspect of the hinge before ordering. I compared the hinge I had which was broken to a picture on the computer and it seemed to be the correct one. The choice was wide and I just picked one that looked like it would fill the bill. Upon arrival (just a few short days from my ordering online), The pair arrived. I removed the older hinges and replaced both of them so that there would be an equal stress on each side. Unbelievable to me, they fit PERFECTLY!! Thanks for having the hinges I needed.

I am trying to install a board (1-1/2' by 3') to my deck to serve as a collapsible table top that will lock in place when it's pulled up. While the product in the picture looks like it will work, I think I need a larger locking hinge that will allow me more clearance to attach the hinge some I'm not putting the screws close to the edge of the deck and the proposed table top. Any ideas? Thanks

BEST ANSWER: THat 180 degree hinge will do what u what. Space 3 hinges across the hinged area
Can these be used for a dog door that will open 90 o in each direction? It will be top mounted. the door will open (swing) in both directions from the bottom.
paulr on Jul 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is conceivable that it could work in that situation, however I needed it for a dining room table which folded the table part into a 180 degree arc after which it was moved right (or left) to double the table surface. In other words the table went from a 4 place seating accommodation to a 6 place seating. I hope this gives you some concept of the hinges potential.
Will these hinges hold a wooden framed glass cabinet door, that is, will they bend out of shape with weight? And do they lock when closed?
Larry E on Jul 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hey Larry,
Many of the hidden hinges come in different sizes so a match is needed between the weight of the door and the size of the hinges including the width of material you are using They are very strong and close to a flush position, though there is no snap that keeps them closed, at least I do not know of one.
Is there a drawing of it installed ?
Stan H on May 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I dont remember if a drawing was included, but you must drill a hole to sink the body in and trace the ears on your work It says they must be mortised in but I just used a dremel worked out well they also make a barrel hinge that works the same way just drill a hole .
I see these come in pairs but i need a total of 3 can i buy a pair and one extra instead of buying 2 pair?
Raymond on Jun 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately no. They are prepackaged in pairs.
I am building a case with two lids/ wings that open out flat to 180 degrees to hold loose puzzle pieces. Each lid measures 16" X 26" with the frame being 3/4". Will this hinge support the lid in its flat/open position without additional support for the wings?
Terry A on Nov 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: i would think so but we just used it for a corner kitchen cabinet that has a swing out double door.
Is there a way to use this on overlay doors
Dunham H on Mar 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They would not do the job.
My door is a flip open inset door, starting at 180 and opening out at least 90 degrees more. I'm building a bookcase headboard with doors that flip down over the mattress. There are 3 doors and each measure 25 " wide by 8" high out of 3/4 inch wood. Will this hinge work for me and which size is right for me? And do they come in nickel?
Edie A on Aug 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These hinges will not work to hold the door in place. A better hinge for that type cabinet would be a European hinge with a spring which will hold or pull the door closed. If you will use a magnet or some sort of a catcher at the top of the cabinet then any kitchen cabinet hinge should work. For example a 29447 flat hinge should work.
