Laguna Tools CBN Wheel, 180-Grit

Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) is a premium abrasive that's exceptionally hard and long-wearing, for efficient grinding and sharpening. Only diamond is harder. Aside from the benefit of speedier sharpening, you'll also appreciate that these 8'' precision-balanced steel wheels never need to be trued, and their diameters won't get smaller with use as other abrasive wheels will. There's no danger of them fracturing, and they won't go out of balance. They're an excellent upgrade for the Laguna G8 Bench Grinder (#71031, sold separately) or other high- or low-speed bench grinders with 5/8'' arbor shafts.
