I drilled 250 holes 1” deep in white oak handrail. The bit was still sharp after 250 holes. I would definitely recommend this drill bit.

Stayed sharp after drilling over 100 holes and is ready for more.
I put the long shank Carbide Forster Bit to the test drilling well over 100 holes 1 inch deep into 8 quarter hard maple. The drill worked great. I bought two bits to make sure I could finish this job. I only used one bit and it's still sharp and ready for more. I will diffenatly recommend this product to others..

Tired of trying to make steel bits work . They seem to dull easy. Then you take extra time, and muscle to grind , instead of drill holes !

Needed long shank for cross drilling on some of my toy truck body sections for axles. This is just big enough for my Red Oak 1/4" axle shaft to turn freely without slop. I had worn out my High Carbon ones so I switched to Carbide on my most used ones.

how long is the shank on the 1 1/4 inch long shank carbide forstner bit, how deep can I drill?
