It worked as expected. I used to keep a custom baby gate in the open position.

Easy to use
I've used these on several projects. One of my favorite hidden latches. Relatively easy to install and work fine.

Plastic frame.
The plastic frame on these are too fragile they should at least have a brass insert in the mounting holes to keep from breaking or the screws from pulling thru the hole.

This catch was advertised as being stronger but it isn't. It's not big enough for much adjust to the doors and screws strip out immediately even when I pre drilled. Not worth the money.

Do Not Buy This
The countersunk screws are very cheap metal that will break off in your project. I tightened them by hand and they still broke. I used three of these and after the second screw broke off I went and bought some better screws.
